The Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL) is a new EU funding programme focused on bringing digital technology to businesses, citizens and public administrations. DIGITAL aims to support projects in the following five key areas by providing strategic funding.

• Super computing,
• Artificial intelligence,
• Cyber security,
• Advanced digital skills,
• Ensuring the wide use of digital technologies across the economy and society through Digital Innovation Centers.

DIGITAL goals to accelerate the economic recovery and shape the digital transformation of European society and economy, benefiting everyone, especially SMEs. EU member states and also associated countries can apply to the DIGITAL programme.
